Hand Quilted Patchwork Jacket "Blueberry Cake"

This patchwork jacket is made to be seen and loved. I used linen scraps and vibrant naturally deyd fabric to make it playful but still elegant. This jacket is one of a kind. It is hand quilted to embrace the qualities of a slowmade and handmade textiles.

Materials used are linen scraps, marigold and cochineal deyed cotton and linen blend by textile artist Jennifer Pavinškienė and reclaimed cotton shirt for inside layer. Jacket is filled with 100 percent wool batting which makes it very warm and light.

Take care of the jacket by washing it on a gentle cycle (20 °C) in your washing machine and dry on a surface while very wet. Iron very gently so the wool inside would not shrink.
